Picked up a new compass this weekend, on flipping it over for storage found bolts and shape that don’t seem quite right.
I’d guess there is a support block just forward of the mirage drive well, but it is clearly deforming the hull shape.
One bolt is proud of the hull, and both have a lighter color (which I could be wrong but looks like stress or thin spots).
Is this normal / expected? Haven’t found any discussions to explain.
