What are the 2 screws for on the right side of the inside of the kayak, in front of the tiller lift string. |

They are an integral part of the tiller/rudder lifting and lowering system. Don't mess with them. |

I don't know if it's supposed to thread into the pulley assembly, or if it passes through and is secured with a nut. |

After relocating the round hatch to the bow, I gained sufficient access to what's behind those two screws. If feels like plastic and has recesses for nuts. I failed to find the missing nut, and now have a substitute installed and both screws are snugged down. I'm disappointed that there's no supporting documentation readily available for these detail parts & assemblies. |
