Post subject:  Corner casting replacement

I have to replace the front port corner casting on my hobie 16.If anyone has some insight into this give me some heads up please. Some initial questions I have are as follows.
Should I tighten the dolphin striker nut before or after putting in rivits?
How important is it to have boat level when putting back together?
Any suggestions on a marine sealent to put in castings to reduce squeaking.
Does the casting come with bolt hole already drilled?

The bolt hole may have to be drilled. The castings are drilled for the smaller / current bolt size.

Grease the pylon.

Tighten the striker after fully assembling and riveting.

Level boat would be good before drilling the pylon bolt hole.
