Does everyone backwind the jib like that? I've never backwinded the jib and I almost never (read maybe 2 or 3 times) missed a tack. Getting stuck with the jib backwinded has however pushed me over backwards. I always thought the Rick White videos advised you to "fly the jib through the tack." |

Just fly it through. However, we still can't do it perfectly so we need to do more drilling. Having said that, there are still a lot of "backwinders" racing and doing pretty well. |
