I went to setup the new sheet on my new old 16 but it turns out the rigging does not match the manual. I have a swivel cam cleat and a jib traveler car with the old track. Does anyone have a picture of how to rig this? Thanks Cp |

Are you talking about jib traveler cars, one on each side with 4 holes in each one. My 1977 Hobie 16 had a setup that didnt match the manual either. It has trentec jib traveller cars and the swivel cam cleats are right on the crossbar. If this is let me know... |

No I mean it has a jib sheet car (#21230000), thing with springs, and a swivel cam cleat on each side. It is a 1983 hobie 16. CP |

http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewt ... et&start=0 The little diagram is pretty similar to what you'll need, with exception of the trentec cars. It's a continuous loop (one long sheet) that starts from the becket on the jib car, goes to the block on the jib sail, back to that jib car and around the sheave, through the eye & cleat on the swivel cleat, and then into the swivel cleat on the other side (and then the rest is like what you just did on the first side). |
