Lake Norman Sail Club in Denver of the East NC is a great place to keep a Hobie stored on a trailer. LNSC is just off the big water in a large cove. The club has a dedicated ramp and is never busy. It is located on the south end of the lake on the big water. There is a clubhouse with showers and bathrooms and a club area. Rocking chairs are on the porch and are great for afternoon drinks. The club is very family focused no bad behavior is tolerated. Before I moved to the lake we were members for 5 years and never had a bad time. No wind no problem cook out on the grounds or jump into the water and visit friends on the keel boats. The club is located on one of the best points on the lake great views.
I talked to my old friend and dock master BOB today and he has some slots on land available for hobies. Cost is $500.00 per year and no I do not get a kickback. Drive down and see the club and talk to Bob you will not be sorry. Tell Bob I sent you.

Gary,

Thanks for the information. I will take a run down there to look it over. Do they have wet slips as well? I would like to find a place where I could keep my Cape Cod catboat in the water and the Hobie on land. Right now I have a slip on High Rock Lake but it is not the best sailing lake.
