Interesting that you and your "friend" have the same sail number. ![]() Normally, I'd say that a boat/trailer of that age would be worth about $3,500. Pluses - low profile blocks, EPO rudders (depending on condition), cumulative boat upgrades to 1987. The boat could probably put in competitive racing condition by gluing the frame and with new sails. Minuses - sail problems ($350), new tramp (about the same), trailer troubles (~$100) I'd say it's more like $2,500 |

I paid 1500 for my '88 with galvanized trailer and solid hulls. The differences in mine and the one you describe: I have the standard Seaway blocks and lexan rudders, the one you describe has 6:1 Harkens and EPO rudders. 2 plus's for you. Not sure of price difference. My sails are (were) in good shape. $350 I did not have to spend. My tramp lasted for 2 years and blew out recently. I purchased a new Hobie tramp which is now $509. I would think you should be able to get the boat for 2000 at most since sails need repair and tramp needs replacing. Just my 0.02 worth |

Why spend the money when you apparently have unlimited use? Or is he going to sell it one way or another? A friend of mine has the exact same pink sails. He takes a lot of gay jokes. ![]() |

I have the same boat (used to have the same sails too) and it too was in storage for ever. BUT, I have a new main, couple year old jib, new upgraded harken jib blocks, epos, 20 connectors and a few other upgrades with a trailer All for $2500. And I am getting a interested callers. Without the upgrades, I would be in the $1600 area |
