Okay, if this is normal, then I never noticed in my 2 years with this boat.

When the rudders are up and tiller in centered, are the rudders perpendicular to the stern or are the skewed outward a bit, around 7 o'clock for the port and 5 o'clock for the starboard?

I have always thought mine went straight back, but now they make a Y outward from the stern... Am I going insane, or is this how it always is... Also, when the rudders are down, same thing, pointed out a bit or straight back???

About the trap stops, I just got out on the wire for the first time this last weekend, cuz I didn't know how and was scared to, but now I'm addicted... heeheehee... But the rope lock seems to be doing its job too good. How do you adjust those? probably hasn't been adjusted in about 20 years....

It appears that your rudders are on backwards. The tiller arms, when installed properly, should angle slightly inboard.

What Hobieokc said. I just went out and looked at mine. They are almost straight in line with the hulls. As for toe-in there should be 1/8th in.

yeah, i'm an idiot... went out and looked at them, pulled them off and swung them back around. all is good with that now... and had a brilliant idea to use vice grips on the rope locks. worked fine. kinda hard to adjust, but i guess that means they won't move on me. ;)
