I have noticed my sails are getting small tears were it rides the mast track. I always feed the sail carefully but is there a product that can be used to protect this area from further damage? Track liner or tape on sail or something?

Are the tears next to the battens? If your battens are slightly loose in the pocket they can cause tears. Your sail track in the mast can cause some tearing, although it's rare. Check the top of the opening where you feed the sail in...Try pushing your finger up into the opening and see what you feel. At the 16 Worlds in Huatulco, Mexico we had to use a cordless Dremel tool with a fine grinding stone to smooth that part of almost every mast.

Check the track opening for sharp edges and snags. Smooth as necessary.
