Hi there, I have some question on the new downhaul that will be class legal on April I think. I have seen some pics of the system in the Hobie Cat Australia website, is this the definitive design ? Is there already a Hobie Cat part nr. for this part ? What will be the price and when the parts will be available ? Many Thanks Tomas |

The downhaul that has been approved requires a special part to connect to the mast base. This part has not been built yet. There is no part number yet. The 2005 Catalog comes out in early April and should have this in it. The rule requires that the lower block and cleat not swivel. The downhaul will not be adjustable from the wire or the weather side even. The line will feed directly aft in line with the mast luff track. |
