Am I supposed to have a line coming off the trap line that helps your fore and aft stability when hiking? I've caught glimpses of such a thing on utube, but have yet to get my hands on any detailed info on the subject. It's probably here somewhere, but ... |

Not directly attached to the trap line, but something called a "chicken line" can be run from the rear of the boat to hold onto. Look for that or "reaching line". Typically only used when on a fast reach when stuffing the bow is possible. |
