Ok, my 81 Hobie 16 is starting to bug me in a few ways, so maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
-When I got the boat, the blocks for the jib travelers were all broken and now are not there period. I need the link to any info on replacing and rigging them.
-My carpeting has all come of so I would like to replace with something that I can get locally, as I am in Canada and do not want to deal with exchange and customs. What do I use and what adhesives work best.
-What is the link to the pylon gluing information, as I will need to redo this.
Thanks, Ben

I can only reply to #1 here, but you can pick whatever jib blocks you like best (Murray's or Hobie catalogs, they're both basically the same) and installing them is a snap! The inboard side of the traveler track has a cap held on by a single screw. Take it out and slide out the old cleat and install the new one. Put back the cap. Repeat on the other side.

Good luck and have fun!

Indoor, out door from any HomeDepotish type place with contact cement seems to work for the carpet stuff.

Ok, thanks for the info but my entire block plate is gone. I will just try to get something from a Canadian distributor.
I was pretty surte that the carpet was an easy fix but I wasn't sure.

I am pretty sure I have a set of tracks and maybe event the blocks off an old (mid 70s) 16. I'll check tomorro. You can have them for an arm and a leg plus shipping 8)
No, just kidding. I'll check out behind the shed on the Hobie pile and see if I have the stuff.

I mean the cleats for the traveler control. One is green and one is red. I also don't have the the little blocks that go on the corner casting. The tracks are there and so are my jib blocks, it's the slider blocks (pulleys) and cleats I need. I hope we are on the same wave length. It would be all the stuff that you order when you get Hobies traveler kit.
Thanks for all of your help though. I would be more than happy to pay the shipping and costs to get these parts used.
