I'm parting out a 1978 16, I will be selling mast, what should I look for on it to make sure it is worth selling? Thanks for the info.

holes unused (from cleats gone by), bent, comptip, loose parts, I mean these are the questions anyone will be asking you so check it out fully. Load it with pics and you'll have less s'plaining to do.

Thanks, the hulls have soft spots from pylon to bow tips, I'm not sure if I'm going to part out or try to fix.

Yeah, seems like they (16's) are pretty available so I'd source out some hulls. I just got two 18's for $200 and couldn't fix my hulls for that price myself. Post to craigslist wanted, you'll be surprised what turns up.

Those hulls are not worth fixing.

Well, looks like I have a mast for sale. The riggings good on it too. Anybody needing anything, let me know, thanks.
