I'm parting out a 1978 16, I will be selling mast, what should I look for on it to make sure it is worth selling? Thanks for the info. |

holes unused (from cleats gone by), bent, comptip, loose parts, I mean these are the questions anyone will be asking you so check it out fully. Load it with pics and you'll have less s'plaining to do. |

Thanks, the hulls have soft spots from pylon to bow tips, I'm not sure if I'm going to part out or try to fix. |

Yeah, seems like they (16's) are pretty available so I'd source out some hulls. I just got two 18's for $200 and couldn't fix my hulls for that price myself. Post to craigslist wanted, you'll be surprised what turns up. |
