Do the new 16's have the upgraded jib down haul system with the camcleat and if they do what is the biggest advantage of it. |

Not on the new boats. He is asking about the cam cleat to hold the jib halyard when you take it off the horn cleat. Keeps it from slipping. Allows you to know where you were when adjusting instead of slipping under laod and then you are never sure where it was. We are not fitting new 16s with the new class rule stuff until it is fully tested in racing etc for awhile. We will only put new stuff on the boats after a reasonable test period. These are too new. |

That does sound like an interesting idea, don't it? Ahhhh only 24 more days till I go buy my brand new 16.... |
