Greetings everyone, I am a new (South African) owner of an older boat, but will need all the help I can get. Please can you point me in the direction of a instruction manual on how to de-rig the boat as well as rig it up again for sailing? Next question - what is the length of the 16's boom as I need to acquire a trailer box for the boom, sails, rudders etc. Sincerely Geoff |

I don't know if this an original idea or not, mine came with a big ol' bit of pipe secured to the trailer. Probably around 40 cms diameter from a road work or some thing. Two circles of wood one end with hinge. An ingenious idea for a cheap trailer box I thought. Could be that everyone does it I've never seen one before |

Yeah mine is significantly more "ghetto" as is my whole boat. Seems like an economically alternative to a trailer box. Mine looks like it was stolen from a roads works |

If you notice, there's a smaller one on the opposite side that houses the boom, hiking sticks, e.t.c. After looking into the price of a catbox, this was definitely a reasonable alternative. |
