I purchased a set of harken six to one blocks, i had the old seaway with the two blocks hanging from the boom. i want to remove one of the block hangars from the boom. Do I remove the aft one or forward one? Thanks guys. Glenn |

I would leave them both on. Someday you may forget your good blocks, break them or sell the boat and want to keep the good ones. That way you always got the old blocks for back up. Just my two cents. JB H16 107679 |

Keep them both. Try each one out to see which one works better for you. I found the inner hanger worked better from the trapeze and the outer one better sitting on the tramp. This is due to the amount of tilt on the lower block. The outer one puts more back pressure (drag) on the traveler but some say should work better in light winds. |

I agree with everyone else, I would just leave them on, they don't really get in the way. I personally use the forward one because I find that when you are connected to the aft one, it puts more pressure on the mast to twist, wich in lite air I don't like, but I have heard of some people liking it better. |
