I am in the need of new jib travler cars for a 95 hobie 16. I was told the part I have is no more. I have integrated track cross bar and trim kit with lance cleats. What is the new part #25232201 & 25232211? or is the old part still around? I have pictures. |

The black plastic slider part is available, but not in stock in the US right now. This is thicker fo the deeper track and would have to be sanded down to fit the old shallower tracks. |

COOL! Matt how do I get the parts or do I change to the new cars, must I mod out the new cars if I go with new stuff? I don't want to jury rig anny parts!! |

We have a couple of the complete assemblies still in stock. The plastic slider itself can be replaced... but we don't have them yet. I ordered some. Photo of what you have... which side? |

Port and starbord have cracks outboard. The boat is a 95 worlds. It also has the jib trim kit with lance cleats. I guess that info up front would have been helpful! If you need pictures I have some I can email you. |

I have this pair (only) at this time that would work as replacements. The plate and cleat setup are the current stock system. The only difference between these and a new car are brass wheels on the new ones. Verry cool Matt, Question will the newer cars work as well,or is the depth to much with the brass wheels? Just for future info. And do I order the parts that you have from Hobie or from my dealer. Thanks for all the help!! |

The clarify... In 1994-95 we started using a traveler track that was molded-in to the extrusion. This track depth matched the existing main car depth. We had some ideas about new bearings for the cars that didn't work out... then decided to just bite the bullet and re-design the track to a deeper depth to use a new type of wheels (brass) with thicker axles. The new car is nearly bullet proof, rolls better and doesn't damage the inside of the aluminum track like the old stainless wheels. Anyway... The forward beam uses the same extrusion / track. The brass wheels do not fit the shallow depth of the original track, so no... won't fit your boat. The car shown will work well, but has the depth for the newer track. That's why it has to be sanded down to fit your boat. Order from your dealer. |

Thanks I found after removing parts from a 06 that my tracks will hold the new cars, And found no issue. Also found spare parts in a friends parts box! It may make you feel like a pack rat but save all the parts you can, someone can use them! |
