On my hobie 16 the rudders will not lock down. I checked the cams and they are not broken but they do not rotate. I'm not sure if the cams are suppose to rotate? Can anyone help? |

Yes they should rotate. Yours are likely locked down. Look at the base of the cam in the casting. There is a plunger that is spring loaded. Force the plunger down with a small blade screw driver to release the cam. Lubricate with some heavy grease. Read up on this FAQ here: http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=467 |
