Page 22 of the Hobie Accessory catalog shows a picture of an "Accessory Mounting Plate" part #1161/62 (which I have on my 16). The caption below the photo reads: "Universal mounting plate for swivel cam cleats, compasses, drink holders, etc. High strength black Delrin® construction that is ultraviolet tolerant." I am curious about the drink holders. They are obviously not in the catalog, unless I am blind. Are these still available or not? |

Use a foam beer can "coozie". Cut it in half so you can grab the beer. there is usually a hole in the bottom of the foam, find a big stainless fender washer and a sheet metal screw. Attach the "coozie" on the corner casting with the screw and big washer. |

I've done something similar to that except cut the coozie down. I made large washers out of stiff plastic, put them in the coozies and zip tied them to the "accessory mounting plate". Works OK. I was just wondering what the drink holder accessory looked like and how it attached. Thanks |
