Whatday think of these???

They're pretty expensive, butI think if I start now I could save up enough by the end of next year...
There is also a matching Jib for 450.

I think they are gorgous, but don't expect much of an increase in performance. They just might help you a little if there's no wind !!! :(

i'm not really looking for a SUPER EPIC increase in performance, just somthing that helps me in light winds (like here in Calgary, AB) and something that will make all the other hobie sailors jealous

In what shape are your Gonzo Nationals? I could possibly use a spare, and they are the same tones as my Keoke.

I'd save your loot and add a spinnaker and snuffer if you want to really increase the 16s performance and versatility. Still not class legal but that's how almost all the youth boats are setup over in Europe. Its great training for when kids step up to F16 or F18s. No wonder the Europeans kick our asses in most of the Worlds events! Anyway, good luck either way.

My Gonzo sails are in pretty bad condition. They could be repaired by a nice sail shop, but there are no sail repair shops here in Calgary, AB. Thats why I want a new pair. The Gonzos are sailable, but I would say not in anything over 15 knots. I also have a pair of plain white sails, they're in better condition. I WILL sell both sets but not until the end of the 2011 season, It takes a 14 year old quite a while to save up 2000 big ones ya know!! :D
