Where can I get a set of foils for the bow of the 16'? Also, does anybody own the dvd video "Sharing the Wind" from Murray's? Thanks,

I had a set of those and I think they need to be 25-40% larger in area than they are. I never saw them prevent a cartwheel for me yet.

The foils work... ABSOLUTELY!!!
Last weekend I was burying my hull as I was racing other boats. If it wasn't for the foils, I would have pitchpoled. They really help so that you can focus on sailing instead of watching the leeward hull to make sure it doesn't go under water.
I would guess that they weigh about 8 oz. apeice.

My 2 cents!

I'm just sayin that I my humble opinion they would be far more effective if they had more surface area. It would be easy to use the existing unit as a template and just add more area to the wings, they aren't race approved anyway so changing the size doesn't really matter. And yes they are very light. My poor Riders lost their game today, they had to win to stay in the run for 1st place overall. They just didn't show up to play today. :x :(

Thanks for all the input, I just saved some money. After recalling the day I pitch-poled a 16 in winds gusting to 34, there's no way that those little fins would have kept me up, sail hard, shift happens!!!
