One last sail for the year

The weatherman said it was going to be 75 degrees and winds out of the S @ 12mph today. For once he didn't lie. I just had to go sailing just one more time. It was a picture perfect day of sailing. The sky was clear and oh so blue. The trees were yellow and the Jemez mountians in the background were beautiful. It started out with hardly any wind and gradually built over the course of the afternoon to the point where the rudders set up a nice little hum ( That's the famous Hobie Hum). No blown tacks, Thanks to all the folks that have shared tips and posted on the forum- I feel like I can actually tack without any problems . . Life is good.

Sounds nice- Didn't know it ever got cold in New Mexico?
If that is where you are- I don't know cause you have no location saved?
A pet peeve of mine on this forum but helps to understand posts, yes?

I might write: The trees- with few leaves- were brown and the Allegheny Mountains in the background were beautiful... (at my sailing reservoir, Quemahoning)
Don't think we're going to see 75 degrees for a while though... :(
