I am setting up my trapeze . what size and kind of braid line are you using hiking out? 3/16 - 5/16 Multiplait ? Captn. |

Trap lines are actually wire. I have never seen rope used as a trap line on Hobie. There is a small amount of line used for the dogbone with a slide adjuster. |

Yes the line on the dogbone , I have the trap wire and the bungee cord. |

The pre-stretched Dacron line that Hobie sells is really good and inexpensive. It fits the rope locks perfectly. |

There's not that much load on the trap line, there should be no reason you coundn't use something other than the steel line. |
