Weights are engraved on the transom when the hulls come out of the mold shop. This is weight before hardware is added and used as a reference for combined weights. A combination (one heavier and one lighter weight hull) is found to keep a boat at minimum. The gudgeon casting may cover this up. |

Hi Matt No sign of hull weight visible.I do not intend on removing gungeons. What is the tollerance?I have seen 67-70.Why cover with gungeons?I guess I am a little paranoid ,thinking maybe heavy hull weight gets hidden under gungeon.Would there be a record of this at the shop? |

The weight should be back there. Mine are just about hidden by the gudgeon. 70-71 respectivly. My quess is that since they are engraved right when the come out of the mold (Before they gudgeons are put on), they just engraved too far to the center, and has nothing to do with a hull weight conspirecy. |
