:P

With the long icey winter and late spring, we got on the water for the first time of the season yesterday!! A nice 15 mph wind, sporadic rain, and a pond two miles long by about a half mile wide. We had a great time after an hour I had to -pass over the helm as my hands were so tired I was afraid of pearling/stuffing the bow!! The water was cold so we did not do anything to wild like flying the hull real high or anything, but boy was it great to get back out there!!

As we packed up heavy winds and rain hit, that made us real cold!!

Now, after sailing 5 days a week last summer, I forgot all about those muscles that aint been used in months.

where are the advils!!!

I hope everyone else is getting out there and having a blast!!!

Good for you! You beat me to the water. We hope to get out next week. I bought a 26' monoslug this year, so my Hobie will have to share my sailing time.

Yea,

I'd like a 26 foot cruiser too, but would need to keep the hobie for when I get tired of putting around so slow I can rip along!!

tow the hobie behind the cruiser, ancor in deep water then go catting about!

Finally got my buddies boat on the water this weekend. Had a few problems but all went well. Of course I forgot the camera until we were half way done lol

:D I like your reckless behavior page!!

Sailing a 16 up here by yourself, in nowhere Sask. bfore the water warms up qualifies for your page.
I have yet to right a 16 on my own, 220 pounds aint enough I guess.
