Hi there again, I'm from Mexico and I want to find a Hobie Dealer with International Shipping for any kind of Hobie stuff, for example I´m on the market for harnesses and some shockcord. the only dealer in Mexico is a company called Velerisa, and they are quite expensive. Almost 300% of the original price. So, I'm not that rich... |

The harness does not need to be a Hobie harness and neither does the shock cord. I have to replace my shock cords and will just get some at the local hardware store. I'll buy a bit longer than needed and trim to fit. I did get some Hobie parts from Fogh Marine in Toronto and they ship internationally. |

Good sailing shock cord and hardware store shock cord are light years apart! |

I'm in Costa Rica and I just have a freight forwarder setup in Miami, I shop on Amazon, Ebay, etc no problems. The billing address of my CC is set to the same as my freight forwarder to make things a bit smoother. The freight service is called Aerocasillas or Aeropost. (http://www.aeropost.com/main.htm)I didn't see Mexico listed but you get the idea. I have found that the dealer in Miami doesn't carry a lot of stuff in stock and keeps having to order from the Hobie factory in California which causes delays in the order. I would instead purchase from a dealer as close to the factory as possible and ship via UPS ground or something of that sort. |
