I'm looking at a Hobie 16 on craigslist and the guy selling it claims it comes with a "larger racing boom". Is there even such a thing? I've never heard of one. |

No such thing. Larger racing Jib maybe? The battented "race" jib vs the roller furling jib? |

mmiller wrote: No such thing. Larger racing Jib maybe? The battented "race" jib vs the roller furling jib? Thanks Matt. I think he might mean mast. Maybe he means it is a comp-tip mast. Who knows. I'm a little weary of buying a boat from a guy who doesn't know a boom from a mast, but maybe that's why its such a good deal. ![]() |

He says it is from another hobie model. It has harken blocks for it. Any chance they would be the same blocks needed for a 16? Sorry, I don't know what hobie it is from until I get a reply back. |
