Looking for the proper degree of camber for a hobie 16 and where to measure it at?

I imagine he's referring to the camber angle of the hulls from vertical. I don't imagine it would be adjustable but if your corner mouldings are worn and sloppy at the pylon, then it could change a little, I guess.

Measuring it would be a fun exercise... :lol:

What, nobody knows the answer to this? The hulls appear to have a negative camber, to what degree?

There is no measurement of this - mainly because up to a point, it doesn't matter.

You put the boat together and the castings/trampoline holds the boat more-or-less in the same geometry (your mileage may vary depending on how old / loose your casting/pylons are).

Ok, for what it’s worth, I was asking because I was gluing up a rather sloppy 84. Measuring from the outside corner of the rear of each hull (as set in a jig) I could get about 4 degrees of negative camber on the port hull and almost a neutral camber on the starboard hull. When considering the effective heeling moment I was just hoping to dial the boat in. So I glued it equally at 4 degrees. Does it really matter, probably not, but I had one chance to get it right as designed.
