hi all, i just got a hobie 15 club and im not sure how and where the trapeze lines attach to the tramp, can someone please explain to me how to attach them? thanks! |

You kind of asking the wrong group of sailors here... Most of us sail in a place of the world that does not know what a Hobie 15 is, nor can we buy one here. IIRC the setup for your trap wire is about the same as for a Hobie 16. You run the trap wires about parallel with the shrouds (side stay). A bungee cord connects the port with the starboard side of the trap wire. This bungee cord runs under the trampoline basically from one sidebar to the other. Some sailors decide to loop the bungee cord through one of the loops formed by the tramp lacing, so the trap wires stays in place and does not move backwards. Patrick |
