Post subject:  What size rivet do I need?

MY mast base just broke and I need new SS rivets.

Can anyone help me find the right size?? or can I use many sizes??

All I know is a rivet is measured by its diameter and the maximum thickness of material for it was inteded, right?

Thanks anyway, and have a great day

You can find a rivet guide on the illustrated parts guide here: http://2010.archive.hobiecat.com/suppor ... _14-16.pdf
(listed by part number) - and your dealer can order you any if they don't already have them in stock - which most would since these are standard items and most dealer do stock them - to order call toll free 1800hobie49
FYI: The majority of rivets used on our sailboats are 3/16" diameter stainless x 3/8" long
