I doubt it will happen. Can't upset the one design apple cart. I can foresee Euro Hobie putting together an F16 if that class continues to grow.

Light weight, boards, chute whats not to like?

Maybe I just need to toughen up, but the biggest thing that holds me back when I'm out is the threat of pitch-poling.

Re-vamping the bow would eliminate a lot of this.

Hobie successfully re-vamped the bow profile about 35 years ago and in doing so virtually eliminated pitchpoling...this change was called the Hobie 18.

One of my lottery projects is turboing a 16. Bows with more buoyancy and a set of daggerboards.

But the killer would be the bright finished wooden 16.
