I'm sorry to say but there appears to be no official name for this design. I just looked at the sail diagrams from the March/April edition of Hotline. According to the charts this scheme was introduced in '82. Looks like a nice boat though. |

That was one of the first designs to use the multi-colored dyed sailcloth panels. When we first saw them in the early 80's (and there are three different versions of them - yellow, light blue and orange) we called them "Coleman Specials", but it wasn't an official name. When I was doing the research for the sail color article, none of the "old timers" could remember a name for them. |
