Adjustable castings have a bolt visible on the top of the upper casting. That moves a plate fore and aft on the inside of the casting. The plate trips the cam. Older ones have a pin (that trips the cam) pressed into the casting visible from either side.

You wouldn't think the small offset would make a big difference but it really does. I picked up a 14 Turbo with adjustable rudder arms. One of the rudders was drilled to the non-adj spec. When the rudders were locked down the non-adj rudder was nowhere near vertical and not anywhere close to being aligned with the other. If you have the older rudder arms you might want to try to find a set of newer adjustable's before drilling your expensive EPOs.

Does any one have a pic of what they look like or a vender that would sell them

Superficially, they look identical.

Look closely, though.

Non-rake adjustable will have a hole on each side where the locking pin is:

Rake adjustable has a bolt on the top and no hole on the side:

Vendor? How about a Hobie dealer?
