I had no idea there would be so many to choose from. I'm looking for a comfortable life vest that fits well, isn't bulky, and won't ride up. I would like to spend no more than ~$80. What vests do you like? Are the neoprene vests better? Thanks |

I wear one of MTI's adventure wear kyaking vests, I work at a summer camp and we must wear life jackets anytime we are on a boat I like the mtd beacause it is low profle and does not ride up around my neck. allot of my coworkers wear lotus lifejackets which are a little smaler but half again as expensive as mine was but they have the same basic advantages as the mtd. Whatever you get make sure it is comfortable, cool and has plenty of storage in the pockets for a multi-tool and spare shackles, good luck charms, etc. |

For a comfy pfd, look at the kayaking vests. They are great to trap with as the vest is nowhere near the harness. They always have lots of storage and can be found at most outdoor stores. Buy during a sale and you can get a great price. |

I have this vest from westmarine. It's like the one that Matt Miller was talking about. Very comfortable, it doesn't ride up around my neck, or get in the way of my arms. I know it's there, but it's never in the way. Adam |
