I would like to install a 5" waterproof hatch in our 16 Hobie, does anyone know where the best location would be? Are there any inside supports in the hulls? |

Anywhere aft of the forward pylons is OK. Halfway between the forward pylon and the shroud is a good spot. There are no internal hull supports other than the pylons. There is also a large foam flotation block inside the hulls between the pylons which will somewhat limit what you can fit in the hull. sm |
