Hello all, great web site. Just got Hobie 16, it needs some work. I have worked with fiberglass so it should be no problem. Cant find a S/N, Back of both hulls have been worked on. Live in Fl so I don't need to register. No title for it or trailer yet, The guy is going through a messy divorce and she really does not want help with finding it as she has the house. :) :?: |

If the number has been covered over, there is not much you can do. There is no way to track from the factory. Here is the location info FAQ http://www.hobiecat.com/support/warrant ... erial.html |

Gawd I went through this once! Then I learned. If you can get the number from "her" just rescribe it on the hulls. Is this legal? Beats me, but I had to do it after a repair on a transom on a power boat. Same number, different layer of fiberglass! Worked. |
