Hey All, I'm in need of righting line for my hobie and am unsure what to buy. I found this on ebay and was wondering if anyone has tried these http://cgi.ebay.com/hobie-14-16-18-ulti ... dZViewItem BTW, i'm 6'3" 225# (not sre if you'll need this info to know if the righting line will work) thanks for any advise. I had one like that for years - used it all the time. It was black, though. Red fades very quickly. |

Misfit, I am 6'3" and when I owned my H16 I was 235lbs. In most cases with the righting line you will be able to solo right your H16. Just make sure there is no water in the mast. |

I'm 6'3", 215 lbs. and can't right my 16 alone. I don't think any righting line alone would make a difference. |

I am just under 200 and I can get a H16 back up along in most cases, then again I have had a tremendous amount of practice, renting boats on the beach for 6 years, giving all those righting lessons before rentals! |
