While looking throught the Hobie 16 brochure I see under optional features that a racing package is listed. What is included included in the "Racing Package"? Thanks in advance. |

This is no longer an issue on the 16. Fiberglass rudders are now standard. That was the major item in the kit. Other items were rail non-skid and a bridle vane I think. |

That is not a "Factory" kit, but an assortment designed by the dealer. |

Unless you are seriously into the racing, stay away from the EPO rudders these are exteremely fragile. The factory stock rudders are fine. |

Thanks for the info concerning the EPO rudders. I do plan to go to a few of the regattas in the Northwest but will use a stock boat. Thanks again. |

If you have some, you have to baby them. They are worth there weight in GOLD!!!! Not like the new ones. I have covers for mine and never trailer with them. Doug Snell Hobie 17 "Stress Free" #007 www.tcdyc.com |
