Post subject: | Harken Carbo 29mm blocks for jib and cheek?? |
Last night I was making selections off the APS catalog to place order on all the blocks I needed...Need to replace jib halyard, clew, traveler and mast cheek blocks on my H16. I had in mind the Harken Carbo blocks 29mm. Is it class legal to replace jib blocks with those not provided by Hobie Cat?? Also can I use a 29mm Carbo cheek block for the mast and also be legal in class racing?? thanks! |

Not into racing, but here is something that might help. I got the tielites for the jib they work great, just keep them out of the sand! http://mauriprosailing.com/Merchant2/me ... de=ODHOB16 |

You can replace the jib blocks with anything you want. Most racers use Harken micro blocks, not the Carbos. They are attached to minimize the stack-up on the front crossbar: ![]() |
