1984 Hobie 16 (84780) racing rigged with jib swivel cleat system, Harken block, double trapeze (Extra trapeze set), Hawaian (sp?) righting system, and telescoping hiking stick. Still very good boat. Well balanced and has never let me down. Hate to sell her but moving on to mono-hulls and that one is taking all my time and attention. She has been sailed mostly on Eastern NC in mostly rivers and lakes but some Beach. I've only had her on the beach about 4 times. I've owned her since around 1990. She has either been under shelter or under heavy tarp "always". Tramp is still firm. You don't sink down. Real tight boat. Sails are white with the same 3 color stripes as the hull. NOTE: Tarp in pic DOES NOT come with it. Sorry don't know how to post pics directly here. |

Nice boat! Stand firm on a grand, your well priced. Sorry to see you leave the cat world. The only thing your not going to miss is two hulls in your rear view mirror. |
