hi fellow sailors. When shopping for a H16, and with production spanning about 40 years, what are the main differences between say a 1985, 1995, and 2005? Older than 1980 I would not be a buyer of, but my current H14 is a 1981, and it is great. So if I am toying with the idea of upgrading to a 16, are there major advantages of newer generations to look for? I know there are new rudders that came in at some point. Are there other milestones to take note of. What is the Special Edition? Vs standard If the history is listed somewhere, please just postvthe link for me to go read. Thanks |

Thanks for that link, it helps a lot. One more question, then. What is special about the Special Edition, H16SE? People seem to ask more money for these. |

SE is black anodized aluminum and colored sails typically. Standard was clear anodize (silver looking), so SE was the upper end versions. |
