Hi All.

Recently purchased a 82' Nationals yellow. Hulls still sound and sails very good condition. Really exited about the step up from my 14, which I've come appreciate and respect. As with all old boats the 16 requires a bit of work. I 've decided to keep the colours as original as possible and will soon start the perilous journey of repairs and touch ups.I'm still relatively new to this forum and how it functions, but will try and post some photos of the restoration.

Is there any advice on what to look out for on such a endeavor? And snags which can be avoided?
To all you old salts. Come on share the info.

Sell your boat and start smoking crack !!! No, seriously, I don't know what you already know so it would be difficult to say. Just take your time and know that you will get plenty of help from this forum. There are no dumb questons here. Welcome to the family !!!
