What is the best polish to use on h16 hulls? I have a newer boat and want to restore the hulls to their original shine, without affecting performance or breaking rrs rule 53. Thoughts? Thanks!

My favorites come from Gel Coat Labs. They have a heavy cut, a fine cut, and a micro-polish/sealant, depending on how bad off your hulls are.

My favorites are from 3M - they essentially have the same stuff (different grades / grits of polishes)

Gel coat is actually pretty soft - go easy on it, and stay away from the vinyl hull graphics.

Looking on the Starbrite site and can only find PTEF, not Teflon. Is it the same thing?

TeflonĀ® is DuPont's trademark name of their brand of polytetraflouroethelyne (PTFE).
