Can anyone give me a reference to align the one piece gudgeons? I have rebuilt my transoms, so I am drilling and tapping new holes blind. How far above the drain plug maybe??? About how far are they placed from the outside of the hull? |

I replied to your post on catsailor as well. I'll get you pictures and dimensions tonight when I get home from work. |

Nobody steal my HIN! Hopefully this helps with the gudgeon placement. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll get exact measurements. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks a lot! I've still got the hole for the rudder pin to use as a guide, but wasn't sure about how high/low to place the gudgeon. I doubt a few mm would make a huge difference, but you never know. Rudders can be touchy. Thanks for taking the time to take some pics. It's a big help. |

Like I said, if you need a more exact measurement for something, let me know. |
