The jib block shieves on the jib blocks had more plastic gone than what was left The jib sheets barely worked. I went to West Marine and looked for replacements Found some Harkens for about $9.00 each went home used a 1/4 in drill bit and very very carefully drilled out the rivet head and replaced shieve with new I used a 1/4 inch SS pin and ding ring to hold pulley in place
I will say that this 30 year old part is better than new and should last another 30 years or so
I wonder who will be sailing the first HC 16 that is more than 100 years old

Hi Gary,
I just did this exact repair on my H16, but I got the replacement sheeve at my dealer for $6, I thought. I will confirm, but I am sure it was less than $9. I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, but it looks good to go!

there is something special about any hobie with a bunch of harken products all over it
I could have paid much less for the generic West Marine product
I like Harken
