Post subject:  jib traveler car

i have a jib traveler car that has a broken flange and no longer stays in the track. This car is squarish shaped and has four holes. Those holes accommodate the bungee cord and the travel trim sheet. On top of the car sits a swivel cam. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If so, where can I get a like replacement?

Unfortunately, those sound like H16 traveler cars that were made by Kisme back in the '80s/'90s. As far as I know, Kisme is no longer in business. I suspect you will need to replace the entire car & cleat assembly with something like this:

Great, thanks for the info. Question on this Lo-Profile jib block. Where do the bungee cord and the jib traveler trim line connect to this system?

Best to attach the traveler line to the thumbscrew (a slip knot will hold it up so it doesn't catch in the holes in the track) and the shock cord to the eye strap on top. Also works best if you use two pieces of shock cord (one for each side) attached near the end of the dolphin striker rod at the opposite corner casting.

Now if I could find a a used (aka cheap) version of the low profile jib car... anyone selling an old usable pair?
