I got a new trampoline! It is long overdue, since my existing one is original to my '79 boat and has no hiking straps left and a hole thru it where a 3" branch punctured it during a huge storm on 4th of July last year. I also got a racing watch, and some new main sail batten ends. |

I got a sweet Hobie pocket tee. Stocked to wear it out on the water! |

What you missed is the enthusiastic "New!" on the cover. Perhaps they mean 2090's? The book is still better than this one from 1968 ![]() But seriously, if you know about any newer books, please share. |

For Christmas I got a bunch of Hobie shirts, trampoline bag, and some Hobie beer coozies. Fun, Family, a little racing, good food with friends and new friends. My best Christmas gift is the knowledge that I'll be sailing with my buddies again in 90 days |

The Reg White one is cool - wish I had it (and I have to admit to owning a copy of Rick's book, too - but I bought it more years ago that I care to remember). Oddly, it's much easier to make a video now than write/print/distribute a book. E-books don't do this topic justice. There's never been any real money in doing a book like that since . . . well, the 90s. That's why you don't see any newer ones. |
