I'm also looking to source the jam cleats for the jib traveler cars. There is usually one in either corner of the front crossbar, one of mine has either been sheared off or fell off over age/use... Any idea where I can get them? Are they just a generic cleat? |

Hobie dealer. Hard to say what you have. Ronstan, Harken or Seaway are among the suppliers we have used. Photo? |

I'll get a photo and post it here later today. They're weird looking little buggers, but they rivet to the crossbar, and face on an inboard 45 degree angle. |

Those are for the traveler system. Weird looking? There is also one called a Lance Cleat. Made in a port and starboard configuration. R359P ![]() R359S ![]() |

You betcha, Matt! Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Courtenay to be exact. I used to race with Compass Adventure, our local Hobie-Only Club, ranging from Waves to an F18 Tiger (only Professional F18 in Canada). I've attended an IHCA Race in Monterey (Racing Hobie Waves), and just recently aquired my '85 H16 after the club became too expensive. Actually heading sailing tomorrow! First of the year! Will get photos/video! |

For order on-line purchase I use http://www.foghmarine.com/ in Toronto. They charge $15 for a small package shipping to BC. Otherwise, there is a new Hobie dealer in Abbotsford Western Canoeing & Kayaking Inc. 1717 Salton Rd., Abbotsford, BC They said, they place Hobie parts orders twice a month, but they would not have your part in-stock. |
