i found it with the odds and ends of my boat. is it possibly a part of the gooseneck? that would be cool since i think i have an incomplete gooseneck. i'll post pictures of that tomorrow; may someone here can tell me what i need to complete it.

That looks like the tiller connection, I am not sure but I thing the bolt goes through the rudder crossbar, and the pin attaches to the tiller. I had to make one of these so that my temporary tiller ( a pool cleaner handle) would fit. |

Not gooseneck.... That's part of the tiller yoke. Fits into the middle of the tiller crossbar. Your hiking stick attaches where the clevis pin is. Brian C |
