Hey All: I'm sure you-all have been here before....... So, I'm considering buying a 16' Hobie but before I make the purchase, I like to go-out with a Hobie Sailor or perhaps take some lessons. I reside in Harrisburg/Concord, NC with access to Lake Norman, High Rock, Lake Badin and Lake Wylie, SC. Suggests, Idea's Welcomed. Thank you for your help shipmates! Kevin ([email protected]) |

It might be a little farther than you want to go on an average weekend, but I think there's a fair number of people who sail cats at Jordan Lake when the wind is good. If you search this forum for that location you might track down some folks who could take you out for a spin. |

There are no less than five H16's in our local sailing club in High Point. If you're close enough and willing, I can put you in touch with somebody from the club and most likely one of them would be willing to take you out. |
